Shelley Cannon Frederick moved to Indiana in the early 90’s to accompany her husband as he followed his job with AT&T.  At the time, she chose to leave her career as an irrigation designer to pursue her first love of art in the medium of watercolor by entering fine art exhibits and juried art fairs where she received many honors and recognition.  She taught classes and workshops in the region until 2001 when she decided that she wanted to take her art in another direction.  This resulted in the completion of her Masters degree in Art Therapy where she helps others explore how they think, feel and act using art. Her work continues to explore techniques in watercolor along with the process of creating.
